Fury Road

Mad Max: Fury Road is one of the most spectacular films we’ve been blessed with, an is on par with The Matrix as my personal favourite action movie. A simple narrative packed with mind-boggling stunts, a bombastic score and some memorable lines (“Witness Me!”).

This is a recounting of the arduous journey to actually get the movie made – and how close it came to never seeing the light of day.

Sleepless Nights

Sleepless nights have become commonplace during the pandemic, and I’ve found this song both soulful and timely:
